"day thang":

In vietnamese, day thang means full month. When a child reaches one full month there is a celebration. My aunt, Sau, hosted Jem's day thang last weekend. It was a nice afternoon with lots of food.

two week check up:

Jem is a healthy little eskimo.  She gained 1 1/2lbs and grew 1/2" longer!  The Doctor says she is looking great!  She is starting to get little rolls on her arms and legs.  All day, all we do is just stare at her.  We stare so much that we noticed she has one of each of our ears! haha! Her right ear is mine and her left is Glenn's.  She still loves to sleep with her arms up over her head.  We heard her practicing laughing yesterday, it was so cute.  Last night she only woke up twice to eat and slept through til the morning.  Jem will be one month in a week and a half :)  We are so happy that she's here with us and we love her so much!
