Jem and her tiny hands learned how to high-five!  She is a smart little one.  She learned how to high-five on the second try.  Next time you see her, ask her to give you a high five :)

Jem is now 6 months old.  She can drink from a cup, sit up on her own and rolls her way around the living room floor.  Here are some shots of her during Thanksgiving lunch at GG's house (Great Grandma's house).

On September 28, Jem's new cousin Laila, arrived!  We got to meet her when she was just 11 days old.  She is so sweet and tiny but we can tell she's going to be tall!

At four months, we introduced Jem to a spoon and rice cereal.  And we were introduced to a NEW cupcake!

100 days old:

Her way of communicating went from humming to grunting.  Not just a normal grunt, but angry grunting!  We might be in trouble!

Yesterday our little monster reached month #three!  Jem loves to watch us sing to her.  She will hum along with us when she gets into the song.  She is such a happy baby :)  We are extra happy this month because there won't be any immunization shots!

We've been collecting photos of what we think Jem might look like in the future.  They are all stuck on a wall in her closet.  Is that weird?  Maybe, but its still fun.

story time:

Jem loves story time.  At just two months old, she pays attention and even reacts (screams!) when a page is turned.  As of now, her favorite book is The Berenstains' B Book.

No, Jem is not really an eskimo.  That was just a nickname we gave her before she was born.  Lately we've been calling her "monster" because she growls while she eats.  She is one cute little monster!!
